MID MAIN SUMMER SERIES CELEBRATES HOUSTON ART, MUSIC, AND COMMUNITY

Three-Week Cultural Celebration Brings Local Artists, Live Music, Interactive Workshops, and Houston's Iconic Art Cars to the Historic Mid Main Corridor During World Cup Season

Houston's creative energy is taking the global stage in the Mid Main Summer Series, a three-week celebration of Houston's vibrant arts, music, and creative communities taking place on June 13, June 20, and June 27, 2026. Timed to coincide with the excitement surrounding the international soccer matches taking place across Houston, the series will feature live music, public art, interactive workshops, and family-friendly activities.

Located along the METRORail corridor, Mid Main has long served as a gathering place for local culture, independent businesses and artistic expression. The Mid Main Summer Series builds on that legacy by showcasing Houston's diverse creative talent while providing free and accessible programming for residents and visitors alike.

SUMMER SERIES SCHEDULE

Saturday, June 13 | Art & Music Kickoff: The series opens with the unveiling of a new mural installation in the Art Garden featuring the Insomniax Collective alongside an exhibition debut in the Gallery at Mid Main featuring Moon Papas Art, curated by Matt Fries AND an original film installation in the Windows on Main by Camilo Gonzales. Guests can enjoy art installations supported by grant funding from Midtown Management District, live music, DJ performances, and a graffiti lettering workshop led by local artists.
